Establishment

It is the first language research, application, and education center established within Malatya Turgut Özal University. It was officially established with the publication of the decision dated 26.09.2019 and numbered 30900 in the Official Gazette.

Purpose and Activities

To teach Turkish and other world languages as foreign languages,

To conduct institutional and applied studies and projects in the fields of linguistics, Turkish, and foreign language teaching,

To publish books, journals, brochures, and other materials based on institutional and applied scientific research conducted in the fields of linguistics, Turkish, and foreign language teaching,

To organize seminars, conferences, courses, and similar meetings in line with the center's purpose and activities, and to participate in such meetings to follow developments,

Providing a field of application for students, teaching staff, and individuals conducting research in the fields of linguistics, Turkish language, and foreign language teaching,

Preparing materials by conducting studies on foreign language teaching approaches and methods, and preparing and publishing books, journals, brochures, reports, etc. to ensure their dissemination domestically and internationally,

To provide consulting services, in-service training, and expert witness services to domestic and international institutions, organizations, and individuals in accordance with the center's purpose;

To provide training and practical opportunities to prospective teaching staff who have graduated from degree programs in line with the Center's purpose; to evaluate the training they have received and the practical work they have done in the relevant field,

To conduct language exams in accordance with the requests of institutions, organizations, and individuals, and to certify the exam results,

To support scientific and official work, and to provide translations in various languages to meet the requests of institutions and organizations.
