As part of the 2025 Turkish Summer School, international students studying at Malatya Turgut Özal University took a cultural trip to Mount Nemrut, located within the borders of Adıyaman and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the trip, which departed from Malatya, the students had the opportunity to get to know Mount Nemrut, known for its giant statues belonging to the Commagene Kingdom, monumental tombs, and unique landscapes. The students observed the historical and cultural heritage firsthand and also witnessed the natural beauty of the region.
The mystical atmosphere and impressive views of Mount Nemrut provided an unforgettable experience for the students. The event contributed to the students' ability to communicate in Turkish, experience learning in a historical setting, and strengthen their cultural ties.
This meaningful cultural event once again demonstrated that the Turkish Summer School is not limited to language instruction but also offers a multifaceted educational process that introduces the rich cultural heritage of Anatolia.
