Malatya Turgut Özal University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) organized a “Turkish Cuisine Day” event hosted by the Kale Tourism and Hotel Management Vocational School.
During the event, foreign students learning Turkish at TÖMER and Culinary Arts Program students came together to prepare traditional Turkish dishes, thereby having the opportunity to engage in cultural interaction and language practice simultaneously.
The academic coordination of the event was undertaken by Lecturer Ünalcan KUTAL, with practical support provided by Dr. Nursen YILDIRIM, Lecturer İrem TAY, and Lecturer Zeynep KOCAASLAN.
The event strengthened cultural sharing and cooperation among students and also increased the experiences of foreign students regarding Turkish culture.
